Rose Wind Cottage is located on the Evangeline Trail in Smith's Cove, a 15 minute drive from the Digby Ferry and two and one-half hours from Halifax.

From Halifax take Highway 101 exit #24 for Bear River/Smith's Cove. At the bottom of the ramp turn right, count four telephone poles on the left, watch for sign and enter the private driveway marked #19.
From Digby take Highway 101 and get off at exit 25 just past the Joggins Bridge. Drive 4.5 km (2.79 miles) and watch for Rose Wind signs on your left. Cottage is yellow with brown shutters.
Yarmouth is the entry point for both the Portland and Bar Harbor Ferrys. From there you take Highway 101 past Digby to exit 25.
